i just hope ms2 brings a new ray of hope

I game back to the game in January. I think I can still the game for fun but there is no way that I can play as long as I did years before or have as much fun. As mentioned before, there are other things to do. The only thing to do at level 200+ without wasting time is to kill some bosses and get "stronger". Even that does not take long.

A lot of players have been lost to LoL and some people just moved on with their lives. If someone cannot spend money on their gaming, it is very time-consuming to play MapleStory.

There was the huge ban spree for illicit mesos back in September of 2013. A lot of my BL was banned when they were innocent. If you do not know enough about what happened, hesitate before you respond saying it was their fault and that they hacked. With that large ban spree, a lot of people saw how the game was susceptible to putting hard work in vain.

We're hanging in there, waiting for 5th job which will hopefully revive the game

I wonder how many times a day people make this thread ... I feel that maybe there is hope since so many people come back and make this same thread ... they just have to stay.

Even if this game still dies, I won't quit till I reach lvl 200. With that being said, this game hasn't died yet, so neither will basil.

Haven't noticed much difference.

I haven't been on Maple for a little, but it wasn't looking good the last time I was on. As for Basil, I've seen a couple of people mention that once a thread is bumped off the homepage now, it doesn't return. Can't say I've seen that happen myself, but it definitely seems a bit quiet.

this game has been around for almost 10 years, im surprised it has lasted that long

I guess people realized that they have more better things to do than play Maplestory also the game became mostly a pay to win kind of game now
