Fun Little Idea

I've thought about this for a long time, and I think it's not to shabby of an idea. Since a lot of people say that the old Maple was better than the new Maple (myself included), I think it would be interesting if Nexon opened a Maple Story client where you could choose the patch that you want to play in. That way, if you don't like a revamp this patch, or don't like a new job in that patch, you can go to your favorite part of Maple Story that you knew and loved. It would be like a time machine I know it would be a lot of work, but I'm theoretically saying, if Nexon did this, would you actually be more interested in Maple Story again? Do you think your friends would join you again and enjoy the Maple that you guys loved? Would the population increase exponentially? I would love to hear from your responses, and I hope maybe that other people see this as a potentially good idea! Thanks! -InnocentW

@InnocentW: I'm not talking about the implementation. I'm talking about the management itself. They have trouble managing just one version, imagine having multiple even if they only do 10 of our like 132 or w/e version we're on. It just wont work well. People really gotta move on, but as I said, if they don't want to they can still player older versions elsewhere.
Too many versions. They do bad enough focusing and hammering out glitches on one version for them to be able to do this. People gotta move on, but if they can't there already are other ways of them getting their nostalgia fix.
It wouldn't be that bad. I mean, I'm sure they have all of their patches saved somewhere. They didn't just throw them away.a

Sounds boring, very few people would play, all of them the scumbags of 'new' maple.

And would there be a different server for every single patch?

Do you really believe that nexon would host that many servers? or that people would all decide to play on the same patch every time for the lulz?

There would be 5 people per patch during it's busiest time.

Time is a path that human cannot escape. We need to go forward. Not choose whenever we would want.
