So Im going to University in a month
For all of you guys who have experienced/are experiencing it,
how is it? How should I be prepared?
What is life like living the "college dreams?"
I'm going to be living in a dorm with 3 of my friends (from gr8, what a coincidence), and my hometown is 800kms away.
I just wanna hear what it's like before I go.

wait Australia?
What else can be said that hasn't been said but:
- Keep up your attendance and try to get to all, if not most of your lectures. You'll be surprised how interesting your lecturers can be if you stop playing facebook games on your laptop and focus. You may even get some benefit from recording the lecturers with a Dictaphone.
- Try to get along to guest lectures. If your course is anything like Architecture, there can be some really neat people that come in from all over the globe.
- Try not to let stress get to you.
- Keep the completing-an-assignment-in-one-night to a minimum. A great lecturer once said - "the first 24 hours of an assignment is the most important time of an assignment"
Most importantly, just have fun. If you aren't having fun, you've probably chosen the wrong degree.
My friend spent 6k to take the Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree and because he didn't withdraw in the first few weeks, he wasn't entitled to a refund. It's a lot of money but if you aren't enjoying what you're doing, there really is no point in continuing.
I do recommend attending your course for the whole first semester though before you decide it's not for you.
Your grades > fun > anything else including family.
You have to do well in your classes if you plan to attend grad schools or you'll end up repeating things. Also, have fun and don't stress out.
