Noob Question about the Free market

1) Can you buy items that are on sale for 9.99B in the FM? If you have max cash?

2) Why do people say stuff like c/o is 20B when they have the item listed for 9.99B? Why would someone give 20B when they can buy it for 9.99B?

@Ecarina: fair enough hehe, I was talking to someone in game earlier, and they were thoroughly convinced that it HAD to be 2+ mesos, and 1 meso would result in a sold max meso item.. I had to talk to them for like a little bit to help em understand

@Ecarina: and all other people above saying 2 mesos.. 1 meso is all you need but yeah, same concept, the storage of the shop/personal inventory cannot hold more than 9,999,999,999. So as long as a shop has 1 meso+, the items listed at 9,999,999,999 cannot be sold, but anything under that value (such as 9,999,999,998 and down) can all still be sold!

You can't buy an item if doing so would put the owner over max mesos, so if the shop owner has 2 mesos and puts it up for 9,999,999,999, buy it would put them at 10,000,000,001, so the item can't be sold. The same goes for items that are put up for 2 mesos. As long as the owner has 9,999,999,999 mesos, the item won't get sold.

Max mesos means max mesos, you can't carry more than that. So if their shop has even 1 meso in it you can't buy any item in it that is listed at max mesos

1) you cant have over 10b so if something costs 9.99b it would result in the other person having more than 10b. So no.
2) since you cant buy the item putting it for 9.99b just shows people what the item is, it dosent mean that is the price

They put it up for max mesos to show people the item. They usually have at least 2 mesos in their inventory so people can't buy it.
