Darkknight

CrossOverChain is counterproductive to the new theme of DrKs

Nexon believes that the new DrKs are supposed to be "Berserkers". Lets take a look at what the common theme Berserkers in other games shared. They shared one theme: the LOWER your health, the higher your damage. CoC gives higher damage based on how HIGH your health is. This goes against the theme of a Berserker, which is what Nexon has renamed Dark Knights too. Not only will this skill make you manage your health bar but it will also fix the problem with Phantoms stealing this. If Phantoms steal this they just won't be able to utilize it properly since they lack built - in drain moves and a resurrect. This will also prevent the possible nerf of this which can be detrimental to the new DrK's dmg output.

TLDR: CoC should give you more dmg based on how low your health.

So by your logic, you want dark knights to walk around with only 1 hp left to get maximum effect from CoC?

Except Berserking in this game has been above a certain health for nearly 3 years now.

The inverted version doesn't work in this game anyway.

I think pre-BB Berserk was much cooler. I liked how DKs had to keep their health below a certain threshold to deal better damage. Might've been a major inconvenience for the lower levels, but I still think it was bad ass.

@iplayms121: he, just worded it wrong (it is hard to express in simple terms how the skill works) but it doesn't add 110% of your current HP, but of your current HP % as total damage.

if you can come with an easier way to explain it i'd love to hear it, english isn't my main language and i'm having trouble making my point across ._.
@lazershock: It is maximum health so it won't affect Gungnir in any way. New! Gungnir Descent: Summon the giant mythical staff Gungnir to hit one enemy for 443% + 110% of your maximum health damage 4 times.
it's not, it's 110% total damage off of the current percentage of HP you have. if you have 50% hp, you have +55% total damage, at 100% hp, you have 110% total damage.

@iplayms121: Gungnir grants you 110% total damage when you cast it, provided your hp is full.
That would be counter productive to Gungnir, unless you also changed that =P
Personally im fine with it the way it is, since if you make it based on our health being lowered, our drain becomes a bother and I happen to like the whole idea of never dying due to absurd life drain.
(also Phantom does have a resurrection technique called Final Feint)
Isn't Gungir max health, and ya I just found out about that xD, but they cannot sustain themselves at low health like you guys can.

Nexon seems to believe that fighters use blue spinning orbs too, never seen a Hero complain about that.

It seems like youre arguing for arguments sake, who cares about specifics

not really, just because berserkers work like that on other games doesn't mean we have to. and funnily, fate/stay night's berserker gained immunities the lower his health went, while healing the wounds he gained, sounds familiar?

you knew MS was being different when they changed "Berserk" back in Big Bang was it? you would have to revamp DrK completely to take low dmg if you want to do proper logic.

Phantoms and DrK should experience very little problems. just pot (Phantom). Phantoms will avoid a bit anyways. DrK drain like mad anyways so it's barely detrimental since it would only last 1 attack
