How to properly attack
hello basil, so with the new skills for attacking on tank mode AP salvo + homing beacon, i wanted to know if any of you have a trick or tip to make it efficiently because when i try to do the combo it slows down the speed of salvo and sometimes the missiles wont activate, i have tried alot of combinations but without results, i wonder if its related to lag or its just that im doing it wrong, anyways ty and hoping for your advices

Hold down AP Salvo Key. While it's held, press your homing beacon key. It'll act as AP Salvo and will attack using it and your missiles. It's confusing to explain, but try it. Think of Homing Beacon as the key to fire your missiles while you hold down AP Salvo. Then just semi-mash it. Learn to use it like that while jump attacking

Can't really show you, since it's hard to show everything at once... but if you're going to go all-out on a boss or whatever...
1) Buff up
2) Activate heal/debuff tower
3) Place gun turret
4) Place Rock n Shock turrets

Too much effort. Not worth if there is no definite way to ATK.

So, first thing to note is that the Salvo skill is actually a keydown skill now. It's hard to tell with Tank Mode's shot, but it does slowly fire as you hold the key down... and you can still move while firing. So, while holding the key down for Salvo (whatever form you have), use another finger to tap-spam Homing Beacon. You'll fire your Salvo and launch missles when at all possible.
Warning... do not try to use a potion while spamming homing beacon. It will not work. You must stop firing missiles to activate a potion.

This for me. I don't notice any difference. The homing just gets spammed while salvo is going.

hm. im experiencing something different. I hold down ap salvo and just spam homing missile. its either i don't notice the small delay you are talking about, or there is no delay i experience and you just have lag or some sort. im still trying to practice jump cast ap salvo and spam homing missile without slowing down

Heey Ty for your post, I was wondering to post the same... By the way I play on ems so I dont have the update yet, I was wondering how to attack on bosses like in some videos I saw while the mechs spam AP Salvo and right after the homing beacon, andthen just repeat the process, the only thing I thought was about making a combo with both skills, can anybody check if it works for me since I cant play the new mech? Ty a lot in advance I would try it by myself but my mech on global is lvl 61 so I cant Grateful Marcel
Not sure what it is with keyboard set up but when I hold the key down for salvo and then tap homing beacon it stops salvo completely. But when I spam homing while holding down salvo it actually works like how it should, perhaps a little slower than normal hold down of salvo.
It's mostly weird because it behaved normally before, but now I have to spam for it to fire at normal rates.
Time it so that the two attacks don't interfere with each other.
I like to hold down AP Salvo; the moment the missile leaves the mech, I start spamming homing beacon.
But it does slow down a bit...
