It certainly is easy to look and judge from the side isent it? I honestly see no problem with either, are YOU the one conceiving the child? Then mind your own business its better to not bring a child into a household of complications such as economically, and not limited to health situations. I love how all these posters say "its killing a life" unless you have grown up in a very poor household or have had to deal with many problems while growing up you have no right to dictate if bringing or not bringing that child to the world is "right" or "wrong" that choice is up to the mother herself because she knows what she can provide for her child, what if the mother cant afford to be pregnant and miss out on work which will lead to her not being able to pay for food, not everyone has an ideal household that can support a child properly. Every human makes mistakes and those of you who shame women that make this mistake are no saints or heck even female yourself. But like always its nice judging from the sidelines.

I mean I'm not really knowledgeable about these kind of things, but I feel like abortion is okay in [b]certain circumstances[/b].
If the mother is unable to take care of the child, it shouldn't be forced to live a bad life.
There are so many children in foster homes, or living terrible lives because their parents had them too soon. Some of them even commit suicide further into their lives.
I agree that the mothers should've taken the precautions to not get pregnant, but when it's done, it's done. You can't get unpregnant and you shouldn't make a kid suffer for your mistake.

As for gay marriage, I really don't think it should be as big of an issue as people are making it. I'll say this first- I don't have a religion. My parents never taught me one and I've sort of made up my own morals and values. (Are those the right words?)
I don't know how gay people feel, but if they feel love towards the same gender, what's the big deal? I don't see how it affects you in anyway. If you're upset about that, then I'm going to look down on you. Love is love. You can love the opposite gender, and they can love the same.

It's like people who will shun, say, ugly people. The ugly person isn't affecting your life at all, it's only [i]you[/i] that's disgusted. I'm not sure if this analogy makes sense, but gay marriage should be okay.

Ahh so I suck at putting my thoughts into words, but I hope this made sense. I guess, these are just my views.
But then again these are basically just third world problems. Some people are struggling to stay alive while we're over here fighting about whether gays should be allowed to get married.

Im not really sure what my opinon on abortion is...
but for gay marriage, I feel it shuld be legalized, because there is nothing wrong with it. It is not like people are forced to get married to a same sex person if it was legalized, if you aren't gay, its not going to affect you IN ANY WAY. If you are gay, it will affect you positively, giving you an OPPORTUNITY to get married, but you dont have to. Being gay i believe is NOT a choice, because why would anyone choose to be gay in the first place o-o" i see no "huge benefits" that anyone would choose to be gay in a heterosexual dominant society. So i feel being gay is something you can't choose, and it just comes naturally, something God created for you. He gave us all a path to live and God makes no mistakes!

It's not as simple as that, there are many complications associated with "unwanted pregnancies" including increase risk of STDs, violence, depression, poorer health outcomes, standard of living (abuse, neglect, crime etc).

The problem with anti-abortion laws is a) they don't factor in all situations, specifically where a fetus is endangering the life of the mother b) they don't stop abortions, instead making people seek out dangerous alternatives.

The better alternative, in my opinion, it to make it legal, but require medical assessment / counseling prior to the operation.

when i say gay marriage i'm talking about both gay and lesbian in general..

As a Christian, I hold certain morals that I will speak of at another point.
But as an American, I believe that the foundation of America is that it's supposed to be a free country and one of opportunity. Therefore, if you want to do something that won't harm others around you, it should be legal.
For that stance, gay marriage should be legal. However, because it's a sketch subject on whether fetuses count as life (or it is in other people's opinion), I believe abortion should be illegal.
