I need artist advice Crow Hair
So I decided i would sketch out a group photo of me and my irl friends, using our maple characters. the problem is the ridiculousness of Crows hair in the game, so I wasnt so sure how to go about drawing it. this is my first attempt, but id like feedback. Also, sorry about the quality, I currently don't have a scanner. Please and thank you.

Edit: heres an updated version where i KINDA (not really) attempted the *volumizing*. Thanks again to everyone for your advice. Hopefully with my busy schedule i can get this group shot done sooner, and start worrying about details like the hair.

Next time you're unsure , try scanning it to a digital programme and do a "horizontal flip". The mistakes in your drawings shown happens because you're too reliant on your master hand and eye (no perv plz) and tend to miss out the other side of view.
Hence, making the picture looks "weird" ( you know something is wrong but you don't know where or how to change that mistake )
I'm gunna try to bring down the bangs, but if i make him look too gloomy, it'll portray that character in the exact opposite mood that Im trying to attempt. (Cause, well, thats my character @_@)

Also tsundere Crow is best Crow.
@fun2killu: *shrug* fair enough
@ImKafei: still looks flat to me. That's just my personal opinion though.
Wow such good advice @_@. I moved on ahead to drawing the rest of the guys ad decided to figure out how to volume up and crow-ify his hair later. but all in all, thank yu everyone, this really did clear things up for me
without shading and such, it will look flat.
I wouldn't say that

u can still add volume regardless of shading
@OT: It looks fine the way you drew it
I like your style
Just like the others said, volume it up with shading but to me, it looks finnnnnnnnnnneeee.
without shading and such, it will look flat.
Dang, it's looking pretty swell. I dont think the hair looks flat. Looking foward seeing the finished lines lol
I think it matches well. It all depends on your style of how it turns out. I say pretty good.
Even though it's a really flat style, it should still have a bit of volume. The little tuft coming out at top would be easiest drawn as an ahoge, which is the little strand of hair that sticks out on characters in anime/manga. I'd also bring the bangs lower to his eyes, almost covering them. That gives the Crow feel by hiding the eyes and making him feel a bit more ominous. I know that's not really what you're going for in this picture, but it pulls the look for me. I'd straight-cut the bangs in front with a few variations in length to give it a more realistic feel. I'd puff out his hair around the sides more, again for volume and to finish the bowl-cut style. The back around the neck seems to stick out a bit, so you can flare it outwards just a tad to show that. Don't forget the white streak he has in his hair, which should be easy to draw, but you can use Shu from Guilty Crown as a reference if need be.
tldr, Rock Lee and Shu put together.
I think it can be puffed up a bit (Bangs).
I think everything else is fine.
Yeah, this is what im having trouble figuring out what to do.it looks very flat the way it is
@LadyVuitton Hmm, yeah thanks im looking at the reference again and its pretty straight bowl cut. Thank you guys ^-^
