Possible to be LUKless with 1bil?

Basically what the title says. I guess I'd have more money by the time I was 80 or whatever though, if that makes a difference.

If so, what gear should I be looking out for at 30-70? I got to 29 tonight without even moving on from the beginning gear (with the exception of a Marbas Hat).
