Coming from someone who received all those awards in school, they're utterly worthless.

His coconut hair is amazing <3
Reminds me of the good ol' days when I used to give my pet monkey that trim...

Yours is uglier tbh
@Iwantodrawnowhu: It doesn't mean she hates you. You worked for the 89, and if your school is based on 90~100= A, I am pretty sure they don't round up. There is no harm in asking.
You'd be surprised with how many teachers would do that. They do it because they know they can get away with it because grades are usually opinions.
In our school, we just need to have B's or higher for the honor roll.
uhm, i was close to not graduating high school because ap lit was such a killer.
my grade was about 57% and did everything to pass the class with a freaking D.
so be happy.
But how does anyone not get an A in art.. Obviously not everyone is super artistic.. So as long as you put in all your effort you should've gotten an A.. did you ask why you got an 89 instead of a 90?
the teacher hates me because i can't paint or draw. I emailed the teacher, but she may not respond for a while

much worse than my situation
So I guess my failure has made you feel better about yourself.
I win this thread.
I was 0.01% away from reaching "President's Honour Roll" when graduating from my program. The look on my face once I found out that graduates were rewarded with $5,000 for earning such an achievement was pure devastation and anger at my professors for not raising my grade that minuscule amount. Even if there was no money reward, I am still pissed that I didn't get the recognition for all that effort and I can't put that graduating achievement on my resume.

Eat ice cream and watch tv all night.
@RajaAKshay: actually it is similar to honor roll
you have to have all E's in conduct and an exception of one S/ one subject below 90. art i got an 87 (im crap at art)
i got an 89 in chem
Honor Roll: Depends on your GPA for the semester. Just a name basically. 3.5+= First Honor Roll. 3-3.49= Honor Roll.
National Honors Society: You get selected into this society based on your GPA. Then you have to write a paper, get recommendations from teachers and a community member, and get your school "record" from the dean. Only 10% of your overall class gets selected into NHS. Then you have to put effort into getting hours.
I don't see how they are similar. Anyways, ask your Chem teacher if you can retake or redo something to bring your average up and tell the person in charge they didn't take the correct grade. Do it fast?
Why should we do something when you couldn't even get an A in art?
art is harder than math for me.

@Iwantodrawnowhu: National Honors Society? Completely different then honor roll. My school allows juniors who didn't make it to try again during their senior year.
I got a 2.0 dont be sad
There is always next semester?
i can't get into honor society anymore
