Should I change from Db to nl
I know that nls are a lot better than dbs. The only 2 problems are that
1.i can't find anybody to buy my sw dag or someone selling a good claw. I have a perfected sw dag
2. my ign is Jacksdb so if I change to nl it will be weird. And if I make a new character I need to psok everything I have. Is it worth it to have a weird name I am also already lvl 201 so I wouldn't like making another char to 201. I have 200k ranged unbuffed. What would my range be as nl and how much would I hit per line? Sorry if I made any grammar mistakes, typing on phone.
Or should I go phantom?

@jacktyme My suggestion would be to create a NL character. During your time leveling it up you might actually enjoy yourself (shocking I know). 90% of Maplestory is rather easy with simple funding. Until it hits a high level you're not really worried about damage so much. Creating a NL from lv 1 will let you actually play the class as a whole, which is much better later on in helping you decide what one you really want to stick with. If NL becomes your thing then you can change your DB to a NL, and your new NL to a DB. Or maybe a shadower. At 200k range as a DB you can do anything that a NL with the same range can do. Only difference might be the difficulty for gollux, but with practice that isn't really a big deal.
@jacktyme: you will lose alot of damage but gain alot of range. you will also need to find a good claw and pay that ridiculous job change price, then buy all ur mastery books. and also isnt sw dag untradeable once equipped?

I think I'll go nl. Thanks for the help. I just gotta find a claw. BTW are 10att scrolled fafnir claw worth 13b+? I came back after quitting for a long time so I don't really know prices.
Don't become a Night Lord.
DB are better IF you are going for that end game damage for bossing.
theyre basicly on par dmg wise. the ony huge benefit nl got is ranged atts and mark. this will make end bossing way easier.

Switch classes if u can afford it and if u like the NL style of play better. Doesn't matter if ur ign says DB in it, it's just an ign[/quote]
It's been proven that DBs are stronger than NL with max funding. If it's any other point than that's just your opinion. Anyways both classes are awesome. Though NL require more funds if you want the avoid that DBs have. Since NLs avoid is pretty crappy. When I played a NL I kept getting hit after I changed to DB I hardly got hit. NL have higher range though but not by much. Overall it depends on what type of class you want to play. NLs have higher range, hard attacks, more crit lot of nice buffs, and decent avoidably and can attack from farther distances. Dbs have Smaller range and hard attacks, decent crit rate, not as much buffs, and very high avoid and medium distance.

NLs are only better than DBs because they're much cheaper to fund, once you hit the damage cap on both DBs are the superior class due to speed. Your range won't change by too much unless you get a decent claw and secondary ;/
1. Just keep looking, if you really don't find a buyer, lower your price. You'll find a good claw eventually.
2. Your call uf you wanna pay thousands of NX to a get your gear to a new char and then grind it to lvl 200, or just have 2 letters in your name that doesn't make any sense, if you're lucky Nexon will release some name change thing, but really, if you don't mind it, what's the worst thing that's gonna happen? Some noob ask why you have db in your name when you're a nl.. That's not that bad..
Name change won't matter considering there are already high level players with names such as "xXSasuke332Xx", and they aren't having any problems.
