What would you do if Maplestory closed tomorrow?
I've just found out that Trickster Online has been shut down. Some of you probably never heard of it, but I'm sure some of you have. It shut down less than 2 weeks ago. I played Trickster a few times. It was fun, a little different from Maple. I wonder why they shut down. Apparently, they did not give a reason. All players who spent money in the Cash Shop will get a refund in the form of points that can be spent on the company's other games.
Do you think this could happen to Maple? Would you be pissed off? Would you think that kind of refund is acceptable?
Given the amount of time and money I've spent on Maple through the years playing on and off, I'd be pissed if Maple shut down like that for no reason. I wouldn't be satisfied with that "refund" either. -_-

I wouldn't care. There's better games out there like Zelda and Fire Emblem series for example.

seeing that I still have 14$ in nx that I haven't spent I'd be pretty annoyed
but if I got a full refund I'd probably sell the nx or something.. xP

If maplestory closed and I get refunded ALL the nx I spent on my old account that is currently now unacessible to maplestory (got hacked) i'd go spend it in mabinogi and have liike 500k~1m nx throughout all my playing time

If they give me a refund for everything i've spent on maple on ALL my accounts, wow... i'd be getting like.... nothing.
but i guess it would be good if they closed it, i'm sure we'll find another good game in no time and campany that actually cares to keep their players happy.
to tell you the truth, i hate Nexon but the game is good and addictive, it's hard to quit. (would be good if they helped us out)
I'm a gamer, so I'd simply continue gaming, although I would miss this game, I'm sure.
Whatever time that was usually spent Mapling would be transferred over to another (lucky) game in my possession (like PSO, for example).
Move on with my life, is there really anything else to do?
Wait wait wait, a FULL refund of everything I've ever spent?
I'd sell all of that off to people on other Nexon games, and just keep saving up for the new Xbox and PS4.

The reason was because they didn't update as much compared to the Korean version. They were way behind.
Hahaha, I knew a lot of you would say something like "Then I'd get a life." XD Thing is you have to treat Maple like a game, not a life. You can have fun on Maple and still have a life lol.
When I said "no reason" I meant no reason was given. xD I'm pretty sure it has to do with money, Trickster not being popular enough, stuff like that.
Yeah, I'm sure Nexon would last a long longer than Gamerage and if Nexon ever got tired of Maplestory they'd probably just sell it. Then again Nexon is really big and I'm sure their staff is always changing (people get promoted, fired, quit, etc) so basically Nexon is this huge, evolving, money-hungry animal? xD
