@WhyUNoFun: It's a reasonable assumption, R.E.D is supposed to ALSO sell DB mastery books for 1st-3rd job, so Evan IS considered to be there, not everyone has confirmed this though.
@WhyUNoFun I think he meant the skillbooks needed for 4th job/10th growth skills.
@IsGamer is there any confirmation on evan skill book being remove from cash shop or is it just a reasonable assumption

They're removing skill books, so why not make it afterwards?
It's quite fine if you make it before because the change is noticed when it comes anyway no matter how old it is.

Well you don't really get anything for waiting for RED, may wanna get your gear now in case % int inflates. Lol who am I kidding who wants to be a Mage..
Definitely try it out. I've met Evans who hadn't bought the skill books and they were doing fine up til around 120. Which is plenty of time to decide whether you like it or not.
Just keep in mind our last advancement is at 160.

One does not mess up SP for evans, they max all skills, that is if you did the questline. lol
OT: You should just try it for yourself, what seems fun to others might not be of your taste. Can't just simply ask what's fun as if it was dictated unless you were asking for other people's opinion on the class.

oh, for you gmser you need nx for certain skills... otherwise i would just say try it out and judge it yourself
