i have 6 piece empress set with about 6-10atk 40+ str per piece, 193atk polearm, 9% str accesorries, nova cape and all the link skills and my range is 140k, hitting 500-700k per line

If damage is what defines you, go play a Zero. Seriously. They're much stronger and you level up extremely fast.

If you don't care about it, then enjoy the class. Damage should not define how you have fun, and if your 'friends' don't have any suggestions to help you improve, I don't think they have any right in criticizing damage.

Anyone can say that they're weak, much like they can claim they're strong. What's that to matter to you? Why should you be chained to a simple term? It shouldn't define you, and it doesn't matter. You could deal 100m per line and someone will say that's weak. That's life.

Anyway, if you want to improve on damage, don't expect an easy way to get to it. You either spend time, or money, or both, to raise those numbers. Event scrolls and equips are a great start, and Empress PAs have dropped since the DrK bandwagon's been progressively dying off. In Scania, I picked a clean one up for 10m, compared to high 170s a month before that. (though in hindsight, maybe they've been duped ._. no idea)

Check future shops, and plan how you're going to scroll whatever you're using. Don't bother with anything worse than a PSB. Event shop content usually don't change, but prices may depending on the item. Stock up on clean slates (I'm talking hundreds) if possible and aim to max diligence before you start scrolling (Diligence doesn't affect slates, but they're useful for scrolling the actual item). Keep a few hammers lying around. Farm cube fragments and try to craft cubes if you have the resources. RA with friends or guildies for coins.

I see this a lot and my advice is to stop looking at the damage and just enjoy the goshdarn class. If you want damage, go to a zero. Your damage is not low, it's average and you still have potential to do more as you level (potato explosion, epic adventurer or w/e that skill is at lv 100 and the rest of the hyper skills). Patience is key and it will pay off in the end.

This is an example. I can say I can do 10-12m per line (non bosses) and still say I'm weak but at the same time, there are a big handful of people who do worse than that. Point is that if you're enjoying the class w/o looking at the damage, then you're fine because you'll stick to the class and grow from it. Maybe not as much as others but it will happen and you will not be disappointed about it. ( not sure if I said this in the way I want to say it because I'm like half asleep....as usual....)

and still feel A LOT weak.

A really good way to get a good spear is using the events Maple has right now. You could buy an Empress Spear for ~30m more or less, and if you have red coins, use the 2h attack scrolls, which are 50% for 8att. You could also use a unique potential scroll on it when the event comes or sell the service for it.

Just go farm at commerci for superior monster crystals, chaos and regular blades. Each run, i usually earn around 10-15mill for just selling the stuff i got from the drops so after a while, you should be able to buy empress equips to give yoruself a little boost.

That seems a little too low, or maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Anyways, empress is dirt cheap at the moment, so get the 6 set effect. You're going to need to do some merching or just farm those protection scrolls if the event is still ongoing and sell them.
