Night Lord or Shadower?

Which is better: Night Lord or Shadower and why? Who hits higher, who is more fun to play, who is easier to fund?

Make a Shadower, get some stars, Open job advance into a nightlord which will cost 10M mesos, there you can try it out untill midnight.

Shadower all the way. that being said, I still love Nightlords, but they just don't appeal to me anymore. Just my bias opinion.

Make a shadower. In a couple months, shadowers are getting a dps buff so even though we're slower than NLs, we hit high enough to make up for the speed. And our survivability is A LOT higher than NLs. After the buff coming up, our dps is going to be even higher~ on top of that, if you really wanna make a NL, i'd say wait till the NW revamp because apparently, a lot of people are waiting on that. Seems like many NLs are going to be switching over since NW revamp seems promising. No point in making a NL when they become obsolete cause of NWs~~

Fun to play is up to you.
About funding: below 50~75% shads are the stronger for sure, and then if you will ever hit the cap on nate (115m iirc) you can fund yourself even more untill you reach the point midnight carnival is better, which will be better then nl for sure (800m+70% from shadow partner). However imo nls only beat us in perfect postion, like Gollux, but on bosses where you need to adjust like CRA and Magnus, i think that shadower will have the upper hand.
And i perfer shadower because he smokes w33d <3

@Tundrical: Actually DPS wise, if we're basing off perfect conditions I believe Shadower has the advantage, not only can it hit more lines, it's own damage cap is twice that of a NL, meaning it can hit well over 100 mils per line.

both are evenly hard to fund, both are pretty fun, however NL does hit a lot harder[/quote

I believe you mean Shadowers hit a lot harder, I went from doing 18 mils on my NL to hitting 30 mils with BS and 80-90 mils with Nate.
dps wise i mean

Shadower is slow but hits really hard however it has very little lines. Is a bit of a tank in a way
Night lord is fast but hits low and has like 7+ lines of damage. Also is squishy

nl cause 50% extra exp
nl hits more lines, shad hit higher
they are both equally hard to fund cause%luk but nl im my experience hits harder at sub 50% luk (low funding)
