Can someone double check this build

I'm helping a friend with a build, I'm not experienced in AMD products but I heard the 7870 was better/very comparable to the 660ti at a bit of a better price, normally I'm a nVidia guy myself. (Never even used an AMD GPU) so here's all specs (and yes it's all Canada Computers because we're just going to drive to the store and buy the parts)
I know it all should go together well (From my 1 previous build, and a lot of google knowledge) so if someone can just confirm for me that it should all go together fine AND that Haswell's prices will be similar to Ivy Bridge?

BIG NOTE THE CPU IS JUST FOR PRICE PURPOSE'S HE IS WAITING FOR HASWELL TO COME OUT:

CPU (Assuming Haswell's i5 non-over clock is a similar price [within 30-50 dollars more]): Intel Core i5-3570

RAM: Mushkin Silverline 8GB DDR3 1333MHz

HD: WD Blue 500 GB @ 7200 RPMs SATA3 6GB/s

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2 80 Plus Bronze Cert.

GPU: Sapphire HD 7870 XT w/ Boost 2GB

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H77-DS3H Socket 1155 Intel H77

Optical DriveASUS (DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B) Internal 24x

-------------
Now for the case, I've never used BitFinex since my only build was cheeeeap level case (NZXT Gamma Classic for 30 bucks!) So I was wondering if the Shinobi really offered much better airflow/space then the Merc Alpha.

He won't be overclocking at all, so lots of fans aren't needed at all. Just stock CPU and case fans will do him fine. So that said, all of this is pretty much maxing out his budget. When I added up all the totals, I added on an extra 30 bucks incase the Haswell i5 Non-OC was a bit more (Which I assume it will be, just not sure HOW much more)

So to sum up a fairly sloppy post: Will Haswell's non-OC i5 be Within a 50 dollar range of the current i5 3570? Is he getting the best bang for his buck in the graphics card market? 250 is the upper limit for GPU. And is the Shinobi a HUGE upgrade over the Merc Alpha? Or will the Merc Alpha do for a Non-OC, standard 1 GPU build? Thanks Basil tech genius'!

EDIT1: I'm also aware I'll need a socket 1150 to go with the haswell chipset.
ussually the next gen is 10-20% faster comapred to the older same model.
I think that answers your question.
I didn't ask for speed.. I asked for price.
