The best 3rd job Adventurer Bosser
Near the beginning of 3rd job (7x) What would be the best Adventurer bosser? (E.g. White knights, outlaws, etc.)
At the moment all I can think of are Hermits for their Lucky 7, and Chief Bandits with Savage Blow + Meso Explosion. Any thoughts?
EDIT: I'm fighting Xerxes.

@jamestonomor: It's just I think it's more effective to boss 4th job. I managed to get to Griffey when I was a hermit though, I'm still at that though though.
Why does it matter if you pick whichever class can kill Xerxes the fastest? I mean, who cares, really? He's made so every class can kill him just fine. I killed him on my 6x Brawler just fine. And that class has no DPS, lol. Seriously, there's not going to be much difference by 75 anyways. Most classes need to be 80=85 before they start actually maxing the skills that define their 3rd Job. But really any class is going to have a pretty easy time at Xerxes once they've gotten some points in 3rd job skills.
o-o This is a Chryse mule. I'll be killing Xerxes as fast as possible. I managed to solo Xerxes at around 2.5 minutes each time on a mechanic, but now I need an Adventurer bosser.
I honestly can't think of a class that is any good at bossing during 3rd job.
Mechanic's siege mode isn't bad at bossing. Especially in dojo, when it has the time to recharge xD
You shouldn't really boss until 4th job honestly. I honestly can't think of a class that is any good at bossing during 3rd job. Nightlords are pretty decent 4th job from my experience. (Hopes our Jump! turns shadow star into a more Soul Arrow effect, taking away having to use stars to use the skill and giving it a duration)

Who bosses at lvl 70?
DB chains of hell with mirror image = hits 20 times * drools*
Actually CoH actually hits 15 times with MI so basically 80% times 10 plus 56% times 5 so
1060% dmg
You can't kill Pap until level 120.
OT: Probably Hermits
he didn't exactly say that happened post-bb now did he? xD
Cb's are only good at bossing when you max most of the essential skills
Hermits because they can solo pap at level 80 or atleast ive seen people who have done it in bera.
Hermits because they can solo pap at level 80 or atleast ive seen people who have done it in bera.
Oks, since Post Chaos I have already tested all my GsPQ mules and will rank them in order from best damage to worse.
1. Wind Archer(semi funded)
2. Night Walker(mostly funded)
3. Mechanic(semi funded)
4.Chief Bandit(heavily funded)
Since there is no Adventure version of Wind Archer you can ross that out same with Mechanic
It would be a Hermit most likely since they have Shadow Mesos and Night Walkers do not.
What boss do you decide to do at level 7x?
Weird question.
But also why adventurer?
Nonetheless
Marauder ; Pros: Ability to rush. High survivability. Cons: Low damage no party support
Crusader ; Pros: Decent Damage, High Survivability somewhat party support. Cons : No mobility
Priest: Pros: Great party support, decent survivability. Cons: Not so great damage.
There yuh go... i guess.
DK IMO thats cos ive always wanted to make one <3
EDIT: I mean DrK sorry
Wind Archer=Hurricane
NW=TT
Any of those would have the highest dps.
Beginner at level 70 is best just throw a snail all the way from the Level 160 Place
Beginners are truly a force to be feared xD lol
Chief Bandits at 75? No. They will suck. Meso Explosion isn't useful until it's nearly maxed, because the number of times it hits is limited. At the beginning, it's like two hits. CBs aren't good for bossing until somewhere between 90-100, when they max ME. Or 100-107ish... it's been a while since I thought about my shadower.
CB's were a powerhouse as early as 7x pre-4th job patch. while not as strong as max m.e., m.e. lvl 1 alone was a killer skill for a lvl 7x.
a sader or a well-funded hermit.
I started Zaking around 95 since my friend was in the best guild in our server, me, him and a bishop would go in and he would solo it in about 20-30 minuites and while he was killing I would also attack to get exp, I leveled like 1-2 times per zakum.
Oh and this was on my DK btw.
pre-4th job patch, cbs were an unrivaled powerhouse in zakum as early as lvl 7x. nowadays, a warrior or some ranged class perhaps.
DK was the first 3rd job zakum solo.
Well you may as well make a Cygnus for that. Night Walker/Wind Archer I guess?
EDIT: Forgot you said Adventurer. But still you could.
Beginners derp.
yeah zakum is 110, but with a 50 minute time limit you sure as hell aren't gonna kill it in that time. You boss at 4th job at the main bosses, area bosses are fine for 3rd job.
For all of you guys asking what bossing I'll be doing at 3rd job, I'll be killing Xerxes
From what I hear, I don't really think Saders are that good when bossing at level 75, since I'll barely have any points in Brandish/Panic Attack
And if you didn't see my main character, I killed Xerxes on my Chief Bandit, and he moves around A LOT. So I guess my best bet would be Hermits, even though they seem a bit boring :[ No offense to any Hermits xD
TS didn't say anything about solo-ing. You OBVIOUSLY are not going to legitly kill Zakum within 50 minutes.
Fixed it for you.
3rd job theives and saders
@jamestonomor: yep ... but no one will add u to do bossing if ur lvl 75 ish
for example zakum u won't be able to damage it..
unless u have a guild of friend that would let u in
Actually you can hit him at a 2% rate in lv 60, since the new miss rate is 2% per lvl difference
@coldxkt: I thought King Slime was considered a boss? And yea, you can Zak at 3rd job, it's all about your influences.
@Icedfire: No one said you would SOLO Zak, but you can join.
OT: As most people have said, Saders, Hermits and Chief Bandits.
hermits cb's and db's lol
Priests of course
HS=godly bossing skill
Hermits ftw
:3
Night lord ftw!
Dragon Knight or Hermit for sure.
I'd ssay Crusaders
with the combo and coma
Crusaders? Do they get combo and coma in 3rd job? Cause I'll be bossing at 75
CB or Crusader.
I'd ssay Crusaders
with the combo and coma
