Keep the number of slots on the respective pet's equips in mind as well. Most pet equips will only have 7 slots but there are some that have 10. The Creampuff pets, for example, offer the 15 att/m.att set bonus as well as having 10 slots on their equips.
@khanleoun: Yes the Chipmunks are much better. No none of the Miho or Action Pets are unfortunately. We got the lesser gersion of them rather than how KMS did. Ours is no where as good as theirs or most of the Triple Buffed pets. I guess you'll need to wait for a better Triple Pet Bundle that looks nice

There are three different kinds of pet deals usually offered that come with (atk/magic atk). Back in the day, they had 5 atk/magic atk 7 slot pet equips with no set effect(corgi with ribbon). Then they have the pet packages with effects (demon pet, jr hilla etc) that give 15 atk when you have all three. Then there are the action/evolving pets(devil pets). Unsure how much atk they give but they might have the most potential. Dont all pets give the same (3 set affect of 15 attack?) Then there are the ones that give additional buffs like the action pets, and any other pet with the grow up skill.

Evolving pets give the attack buff and also 3 random stats on top of that i most commonly see 6%hp stacked twice.

I'll never have any growing pets, because the upscaling is so hideous and lazy it's offensive.
