All four Gollux rings are decent enough.

Superior Gollux ring for sure
Reinforced Gollux ring for sure
After those 2 rings you can pick depending on how your other gear is set up.
Scarlet ring if you would like to add another item to a set to complete it(Ie: 2 sup pendants 2 sup rings)
Explorer crit ring for the minimum crit
Solid ring due to easy cost
LGR if you are rich and want to look pro (the attack buff is the only reason to get this ring over a scarlet)

Lol well, I'd say superior, reinforced and solids are generally keepers. The cracked ring is an average ring and there are quite a few replacements. The best replacement I think is probably scarlet if you can't afford to wear double pendants (I heard you can get the full superior set from scarlet ring, sup pendant, earrings and ring). Otherwise you can stick with cracked ring or use some sort of alternative that can get potential and atk probably. People buy LGR for the looks and the 15 att buff which is comparable to the 6 att from perfected cracked ring but that's all endgame concerns.

Definitely don't get lightning god ring unless you just like the look. They are over 20b to begin with. The cost of that ring doesn't justify the difference in dmg with a different ring. I would use scarlet instead actually. I'm using Sylph ring from an event, which is just a better version of the critical dmg ring. If you have really high %crit then you should lvl a resistance, and get the crit ring on lvl130. It could work as a cheap replacement for a good ring. But, that ring is more effective if you do more dmg.

Because the game would lack diversity if everyone just use the same thing. I mean it's already lacking on that part. It all depends on your sets. The different options doesn't really make a lot of difference in damage. Just depends on what you like or what you need.

I don't think you can anvil rings, but even if you can it won't carry any stats/buff from the item used for the appearance.
