@AbsymalTorment: they don't need breakdowns because they're automatically cooler than metalcore.
Lars' drumming on St. Anger is cooler than all of metalcore.

Recently, I've been in love with a dude/band/project called Celldweller.

So his whole thing (recently, at least) is that he doesn't exactly create "albums." Instead, he makes these giant sweeping narratives that span across a series of symbolic songs that he releases in chapters over the course of like a year. His latest thing is "End of an Empire", which is released over four separate albums. Each album has two original songs that Celldweller creates, plus a bunch of in-betweens called "Factions" which are like soundscape bits and pieces that flesh out the world (like this one from the second chapter, Love), and finally a bunch of remixes of the two songs he made. Essentially, "End of an Empire" is a project of four separate, full-length albums all connected to a unifying theme. And then he adds more to the world with teaser trailers and merchandise with character art and it all comes together like flavor text on a CCG. Celldweller really got off the ground by doing epic orchestral electronic music for things like action movies or video games, so he's great at making songs that fit a specific tone or emotion. So it's really cool how he uses that skill to create a series of songs that form a unique standalone narrative.

Anyway, yeah. Favorite band is Celldweller.

Metallica is the best metal band ever. They have 36 million likes. They are the heaviest, and shred the hardest. They are 666! Don't get me started on their face-melting breakdowns and 5 minute guitar solos.
