@traitor: Harsh but true, but when you ask a silly question you're going to get silly answers.
More accurately, one should flip a coin and then think whether they were relieved or disappointed by the result. Then, factor that in, keeping one that brings them relief or swapping a result that annoys.
If he really is a true 50/50, doesn't care either way... which, honestly, is rare to happen: it still works just fine. You can't lose, I guess.
I don't think he's asking which ones better he just needs and 50/50 answer then he'll pick himself.

You're gonna need to be a bit more specific than 'Thief or Warrior', buddy. That encompasses... what, 20 classes or so? And while a long time back I could at least say each class archetype has an overarching set of similarities to them; with classes like Zero, Xenon and Phantom on the prowl you can't even say that with candour, either.
Tell us what thieves and warriors you were looking into, and what you want them for (presumably top-tier bossing?).
If you want a crappy shred of advice though with no effort on your part, just go back to that aulde Dawn Warrior you've got as your Basil avatar and keep at it. Dawn Warrior's probably my personal favourite class across the thieves and warriors anywho.
