Evan

Evans Dragon Mount

Okay I swear, a couple years ago, when the soaring skill for mounts came out, Nexon said that Evan's dragon mount could fly through the sky like a helicopter using the up/down/right/left arrow keys--or just float in mid-air. I know they can GLIDE through the air like a demon slayer using Dragon Flight, but weren't they meant to use the soaring skill, but were unable to? I thought Nexon was supposed to fix this mistake and they still didn't get a chance to fix it. Or maybe they were never meant to soar in the first place, but I strongly remember getting mad that I spent 50m (which was a lot of money to me back then) and not being able to use the soaring skill on my dragon mount...

You can only glide once you get the saddle for your mount, and then you have to upgrade it once more at level 80 and 120.
The two upgrade quests are tedious, so bring friends.
900 drops for the last one.

I would know, I did it last night.

@mvietp09 - A newly created Evan automatically gets the Dragon Glide skill.

I forgot how I got it, but it's still available.

Step 1: Get on soaring mount (like pegasus or something)
Step 2: Lift off so you're in the air
Step 3: Have someone transform you with the winter transform potions.
Step 4: Cancel Transformation.
Step 5: Get on Mir mount.

Have fun flying!

I'm pretty convinced we were never meant to be able to soar on Mir, which is odd considering it does have wings big enough to carry us into the air.

Unfortunately, the closest us Evans get to soaring on Mir (until Nexon releases an update for it), will be in the DRPQ lobby..
