Quitting Maplestory
So I've been playing Maplestory on and off (mostly on lol) for 8 years, and this game--as sad as it is to say it--has been a big part of my life. I've been playing since v.016 and I've seen this game transform drastically over the span of 8 years, from the introduction of third jobs, to big bang, and finally, to the maple world that revolves around potential, profit, damage, and bossing. Now don't get me wrong, This isn't one of those "maple-isn't-what-it-used-to-be" threads; I am deciding to quit once and for all, not because of what the maple world has turned into, but because I believe Maplestory has finished its job of keeping me company and entertaining me throughout my adolescence and now I think it's time to let go of the game that has brought me such great joy. I am so excited to be going off to college this fall and I am ready to move on with my life.
So, the dilemma I face is: what do I do now with my account?
There's always the option of giving it to one of my real-life friends, but none of them play Maplestory. I could give it to a stranger in Khaini, but leaving 8 years of my life in the hands of some stranger is unsettling, as odd and stupid as that sounds. Or, I could just abandon my account for good, but that just seems wasteful considering all of the cubed equips/mesos/20+ characters on it.
What do you guys think I should do? I want someone/some people to benefit from my Maplestory retirement. (I have no NX to spend on PSOKs or whatnot).

The horrible, greedy, and selfish part of me would gladly inherit your account, but the considerate and generous part of me would... actually that part of me doesn't exist. Can I have your account?
I say keep the account. You'll never know what Nexon will do in the future. Hell, this game might be better in 2 years :o *crosses fingers*

Im in khaini, Khaini stranger wants it all.
My friend recently got into maple again is unwilling to move to bera, so I moved to Khaini to play with her, because I'm more savvy on the current state of the game. Having a character that's higher than level 30 would be nice, but I figure I can get to 100 by the end of the weekend if I really grind it out, so it'd just cut some time out for me, though your collection of high leveled characters that are the ones I choose to avoid in my Bera collection, which makes it even more interesting.
If you decide to give it to a random from basil who's played roughly as long as you; I started in bera shortly after broa was added, and right before the first halloween event; then you can find me on Orologio, my Khainian Battle Mage.

I have no friends LOL. After I took my 2-year hiatus, all my maple friends quit or changed worlds
