@kryo: No kidding Sherlock, it's why I also mentioned that I have yet to fail a gollux scroll(occult 90%) given the fact that I have Lv100 Dili= 10% + 90% = 100%. Other people have mentioned they have failed these scrolls with Lv100 Dili.
On a side note, not all GM's know what they're talking about. I'm actually more surprised of the fact that they disclosed info on the lucky scroll. I mean how else are we suppose to buy their products if we don't know if it's actually working when we apply it to certain items. That's just effkkn ridiculous! But hey, that's Nexin for u brah. gg!

@aloeveritas Hmm, that would explain the 1% failure outcome. I'll put it to the test given I have a so called 95% of success with a Lv100 dili.

Not that I trust what these "GMs" say, since they're inconsistent and they don't even play the game. But if multiple people claim that they have failed a 70% trace during fever time with lvl 100 diligence, then it must be the case that diligence doesn't affect trace scrolls.

@genostigma: diligence doesn't affect fever time, thus the 1% rate of failure and the outcome

@emachines612: Hmm let's see. 70% turns to 95% (during fever) + Lv100 dili brings it up to 105% + guild skill another 4% bringing it to 109% scroll effectiveness. Yup, pretty much overkill. Don't know where you're getting your 1% fail chance. I'm doing this without 4% guild skill btw.

@genostigma: I have failed a 70% trace during fever time with level 100 diligence. It is only a 1% chance to fail if the guild skill works properly so it's not a surprise that it hasn't happened to you yet.

@mudkippiratez: Diligence does work with traces. It's been proven before here on basil. Don't know where the thread went but it's a done deal. I have Lv100 Dili and have never failed a 70% trace during fever time. Also have yet to fail a gollux scroll 90%.

Will spending more mesos on my weapon make my range go up more than spending mesos on other equips?

The highest chance you can get is 99% chance with enhancement mastery guild skill. 70%->95% + 4% = 99%

You said you're unfunded. It's cheaper to just 70% it. The 95% chance + whatever bonus % you have from diligence will mean you will most likely pass all the scrolls. If you don't, innocent scroll your weapon (much cheaper than clean slating) and rescroll.

Wouldn't even 70%ing it beat that?
70% traces are +5 magic att and during fever are 95% (very easy to get to 100% with diligence and guild skills)

You could always go with 30% traces
