Naruto Fights video, feedback required

Hey wonderful people of BasilMarket!

I was wondering if any of you who has free time can do me a quick favour for my friend. I just need you all to watch my friend's AMV and tell me what he needs to work on.
He's really trying hard to learn how to edit, so it is the least I could do to obtain some feedback to help him improve his skills.
Feel free to comment anything you liked, disliked, what he could do better, what he should remove and so on and so forth.

I appreciate all the help that you guys are doing for me and him, I will forward all the comments to him.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Serious note: lf you want to learn how to edit, where and when to make cuts, apply this and that, watch fight scenes in movies. Don't look at the subjects of what's being presented to you, but look at the overall composition of the shots. Look at the pacing, the camera style, etc. lt may seem unrelated, but once you get a good grasp on how that affects whatever it is you're aiming for in your editing, apply that knowledge to AMVs or whatever.
Yes, this is exactly what I felt. But, it is just a list of fights as 0kevqn stated.
I think we need to see more of his videos to better critic his skills.
Basically this. I enjoyed it, but there's alot of room for improvement
From a fellow AMV maker, it honestly it doesnt really feel like an AMV, more like a compilation. It lacks any sync, edits, or flow and is just boring to watch as an AMV. As just a plain compilation of battles its nice though.
I'm extremely impressed with it.

@xronellx: How can you make a list of fights more exciting? It's literally just a list, there's nothing to add

Idk...feels plain. No excitement. I think maybe enhance the video quality, if its possible. I also, didn't like the shadows on the corners because it kind of made me sleepy, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, I think it got the basic parts right. Though I can't say much because it looks like a pretty simple copy and paste clips with added music.

I didn't find it boring but i didn't find it great either. This is coming from someone who hasn't seen nor wants to see naruto.

I felt like the rating system was put in over an actual justification as to why he liked certain fights, and didn't really explain it other then 1 had a higher overall total from 2 (some areas were vague).
I also get how he probably didnt want a long video, but trying to fit a top 20 list into under 8 minutes is really ambitious and kind of misses when showing them off (some had like 20 seconds max when others had a longer time).
One part of it, it became really unclear, either the rating didn't appear or the fight was really long, so either way his editing ability played a role in this.
