Why do kids like ruining this game for people?
I don't get why people ks when they can just surf channels. They'd probably find a channel within 5 minutes, even on 2x. These kids make this game no fun, especially the ones that bandwagon the revamped classes for the purpose of ksing. It's dumb.

That's an extremely terrible representation of human psychology. You can't just say people do something only because they are attempting to fill a void they have in other entertainment mediums. There's a hundred different reasons that people KS, and believe me when I say this: Getting an "enjoyment that they don't get from the real world" is one of the least common reasons there are. Attempting to link people's personalities between real world and online interactions is extremely improbable and inaccurate. People can have completely different personalities, and you wouldn't ever know. You can make all the assumptions you want, but once you grow up and really take a step back, you'll see that the most painful jerks online can be very calm and supportive, while the nicest and soft-speaking individuals can be complete assholes.
Listing a few painfully obvious reasons for KSing:
-Simple impatience
-They just don't care
-Laziness
-Competition
-Revenge
-Attempt to show dominance
Showing dominance online [b]does not mean the person lacks dominance and confidence in real life.[/b] It can, but it can also just be the person acting the same way as he or she would act in real life.
You should stop making assumptions trying to connect real life and online interaction. Grow up into the real world; once you get into college and see how the lives of some people are, and how they act online, you'll begin to see just how wrong you are when you try to make assumptions.

If it's a crowded server/map they probably won't find a channel at all. The population of Maple has gotten more and more selfish and greedy over the years. I'm glad my characters are high enough level where I don't have to deal with idiots anymore.
