@BobR: Oh, I see now. I was confused at first,
@krishman: Paypal's currency fee is still very insignificant compared to the bank's- better pay less than more.

Canadians and other non-US buyers had been paying the wrong amount for NX for years.
Canadians were essentially paying $7.90 and getting $10 of NX because of differences in the value of US and Canadian dollars.
1 Canadian dollar equals approximately .79 US dollars.
The adjustment makes the amounts and prices equal.

Paying the right amount for the same.
Paying more for less
@nanabanana: Yeah, but what im saying is that no matter what, youre paying a different amount. If I pay 10USD, itll change via PayPal or my bank to my currency and im still paying 12.11 for 10k nx.
@krishman: Doesn't paypal converse the currency of the purchase automatically [and takes a very insignificant fee from you] so that your bank won't charge a conversion fee? That is what is with my paypal at least...
The kind of people that complain about the nx change aren't intelligent enough to find a loophole/more options to buy nx at a different cost. I find if fun to watch.
It's sad that there's people that try to belittle others so they can feel better about themselves. I was just wondering when it happened. I never asked how to get around it.
because of those greasy americans
everything is America's fault. even if it's because of differences in currency and taxes imposed by Canada.
Get a temp visa card, switch your ip to an american ip, buy nx at regular price, thats what i do.
To make us suffer by buying more nx than we need.
Gotta prevent them wall street traders from conducting NX Arbitrage

@nanabanana: You do realize your bank does the exchange rate right?
I either pay 10$ CAD cad and get 7.9k nx. Or pay 12.11$ CAD or whatever current price is at PCGameSupply and get 10K nx
Even if I pay 10$ USD for 10K nx, my bank will do the exchange itself and charge my account the necessary funds and possibly a processing fee. I still pay more, possibly even more cause of the processing fee.
- The money in my bank account is in CAD, my Credit Cards are in CAD. This would be different if my accounts were USD (people who do a lot of business/shopping in the states tend to have this to avoid the processing fee)
@krishman: Let me understand, so you pay more for the same amount if you buy through the us dollar currency and you pay more if you buy with the cad? seems illogical since 10k that goes for 10 usd is the same as it was before this change.
For example- I rather buy in usd than in EUR as nexon's website suggests me.
Just buy through a game card supplier website.
This literally changes nothing. Im either paying more than I was before for 10k nx by buying an american card, or im getting less than 10K nx by buying a canadian card.
sucks big time, got 85k nx for $85 and it's only 67k.....
Just buy through a game card supplier website.
yeah its pretty bull crap. but im sure they did it because of all the US people taking advantage of it on pcgame
And New Zealand
They are, but awhile ago, you could buy 50k nx for $50 CAD, which was like $40USD.
HAHAHA SUCK 4 YOU. I always had to pay that much. So suck for me too.
Aren't Canadian Dollars worth less than US dollars?
The same goes for Australian Dollars
