How to get a higher range?
Obviously better equips, but I hear of people with 300k ranges and so on. My question is how does it that high? Is it str%, atk on equips, or atk% on weapons. What is your greatest factor?

Just balance your attack and str.
plus there are flat str bonuses that matter a whole lot when considering % str. fully buffed I have around 4200 str and 750 atk. Which gives me a range of 400k. drop that str by 1000 and you lose about half that dmg range.
I'm sitting at 500k range with 70% str.
And I'm only half equipped at best. Most of what I have equipped doesn't have the potential I'd like anyways.
Trust me attack goes a long way, once you get it to a very high amount, you just start working on getting %
My wep, and secondary have no %attack.
how much weapon attack do you have....?
and also, can we please stop talking about how much %stat you have and actually just list the number. a 160 all stat 15% str boot is gonna be so much better than the 18% str snowshoes, but this is not reflected when we post things like "i have 150% str"
You start by collecting equips with at least 6% STR each, whatever you can afford. High attack can also work good, but 6% is better than 8 ATT by like level 120, so I would say that 1% STR is better than 1 ATT by level 140. Just keep that in mind.
AND, plan to buy a weapon that has more than 70 ATT added to it from scrolls. Aim for at least 200 ATT if you can afford it.
"Perfected" technically means all scrolls worked, so that could be anywhere from 14 extra attack from seven 60% scrolls and no hammers, to 90 extra attack from Pinnacle scrolls and 2 hammers. And then there's enhancements.
I'm pretty sure that most people who are godly cube and enhance their own stuff.
If you have NX, then you cube your stuff to increase the percentages.
@wowcradle2 holy duck man. Now the question changes from "how do you get a high range?" to "how the hell do you afford all that crap?"
@wowcradle2: Lol a lot less I'll leave it at that for now Aside from my sword im kind of stuck on how to get more wep atk atm.
@pitchblack0
If it helps I have a similar range; about 430k but around 120% str and 840 att. How much att do you have?
im 330k buffed 100% str, yea the attack helps loaddsssss, 20 attack added 10k on my range

How much attack do you have because I'm like 420k buffed with like 200% str
Train a Demon Avenger, Kanna, and Xenon to Lv 120. The former two give 10% damage with their Lv 2 Link (and stack too), while the latter gives 10% All Stats. Since 2x events are happening pretty often, and you can use a 2x exp coupon from the Everybody In event, it's fast training those chars to 120.
and don't forget link skills

%str is nothing if you don't have high attack, and vice versa, getting a perfected weapon with alot of attack is good, getting a clean weapon with a great pot is also good. but if that perfected weapon had that pot then your range would increase tremendously if you wore either of other 2. so its good to have both rather then being more reliant on 1 or the other.
perfected weapon, over 100% STR
being honest, I have a 50k range buffed with my own buffs, I kinda suck
%Str %Damage % atk all help but you need a lot of pieces to add to your range. But you need a lot of pieces with that to actually add something decent. Some guys have 12% str on every piece of armor which would probably boost the range A LOT. But if you only have one piece with that, I dont think it would increase your range all that much.
Just get as much attack and str as you can, if there's any equipment slot you don't have filled, try to get it. Link skills help tremendously.
