I like Mercedes because of the large set of skills. For Wind Archers, you only get 2 attack skills in fourth job and I think 2 in third job so you use the same skill over and over again which gets boring after a while.

Mercedes is just like a thief class, except easy to fund, and actually, surprisingly, not as squishy. Bossing, we're definitely up there with the Wind Archers (maybe a BIT lower), but we have a very varied set of skills, and the storyline is quite nice.

Mercedes is getting another buff in a few months. However, now, Spikes Royale is spammable, with great damage output ^^

We are squishy on the lower levels though, but that's easily rememedied with Ancient Warding (maxed around 110-120).

All bowmen have decent survivability.
Marksman have crazy amounts of damage reduction thanks to Aggressive Resistance.
Bowmaster and Wild Hunters have drain which helps then recover HP when attacking.
Wild Hunters also have a very large amount of HP compared to the others.
Mercedes has a bit of damage reduction with passive healing along with high avoid.
Wind Archers have a bit of damage reduction and Emerald Flower which is used to lure monsters away from you.

Wind Archers probably have the worst survivability out of all of them, but it's not really a problem.
Marksman have the best survivability in training while Bowmaster has the best survivability when bossing.
As for bossing, Wind Archers or Marksman are the best with less funds.

I recommend Wind Archer.

Apparently lots of people interested in bowmen now. So many threads.
Anyway, if you like warriors Marksman is also strong and known for damage.
No bowmen are good at surviving, they're all really squishy.
They're all kinda easy to fund because of the fact that DEX stuff is cheapest, but they also need a lot of good equips to hit high.

Mercedes is fun if you like thieves. Other than that bowmen are just their own class and you'd have to try them.
