How do you see your pet?

I don't know why but I see a lot of pet starving nowadays.
Option 1
I treat them as my tools. You know, auto-loot, auto-pot, auto-buff, giving me nice wa/ma buff and such. I don't really care if it is dying or not, or how it looks like. Oh it is hungry? -Spam pet food key until the pet shout please no-. Done! What? Talk to them? I have no time for that, don't you see how famous am I in Henesys? Oh yeah, I do use them to spam the chats when they are level 15. HAHA!
Option 2
I look it as a real pet even though it is virtual. I only buy / get the one I like, and I feed them on time! Making sure they are full and not hungry! I also talk to them! I like their responses and emotions!
Option 3
What pet? I'm too poor to even feed myself!

Option 1 during training/bossing, option 2 while I'm relaxing.
Why would you put option 3 before option 2 you monster.
It never made any sense to spend money on a pet that just follows you around until a friend told me about how it can actually help you with your game.
Once I tried it, I never went back to looting my own stuff or potting for myself ever again.
Definitely a tool and well worth it.
I guess a combination of 1 and 2. My pets feed themselves but I have a lot of memories with them, particularly my Sun Wu Kong, which I've had for upwards of 4 years (not perma though, I've had to revive him a bunch). He got to level 25 recently
On the other hand, they're extremely useful since they auto-buff me, heal me, and pick stuff up for me.
Option 4 - Its kawaii and buffs me. It has auto feeder so i dont have to do anything for it. It also gives me a m/atk buff. They are also very cute and i believe them to be hene hoe magnets c:
