Is there really much you can do? The parents probably already know. I don't understand how a babysitter would find out something like this before the parents do.
O.o wha? I didnt know that,
OT: I cant babysit, I lose interest in about an hour in the infant. Then Baby gets screwed. -.- It happened to me once before, when I was like in grade 5 I had this kid about 1 sitting onthe couch, and then I was on the computer and he fell off the couch. o.o
It's the reason why infant obstructed airway CPR is a bit "tricky". You ONLY sweep for the object if you see it because you run the risk of cutting the babies throat. Not only will s/he choke on the blood, but babies are very quick to bleed to death.
Since HIV can be transmitted through bodily fluids, wouldn't you be less inclined to touch the baby?
Unless the baby bleeds, it is not a concern. Feces, saliva and urine aren't transporters of HIV.

I wouldn't do anything I normally wouldn't do when caring for a baby, sanitation wise. Legally, the parents don't have to tell me the child is infected due to the ADA. If the child gets injured so bad it bleeds, it would be a call to 9-1-1 anyway, an infant only has to bleed out a tablespoon of blood before it becomes critical.
