Everyone seems to be missing an important point. A Stimulator only works on the BASE stats of the item.

When you make an item, it's just like finding it as a monster drop. There's a chance the BASE stats of the item will be below average, average or above average. I don't know for sure exactly what the range of + and - is, but it ranges about 3 or 3 points up or down.

So when you make an item, the BASE stats could be as low as -4 below the average for that item (what it shows in the maker window), or as high as +4 from average.

ALL a Stimulator does is prevent the BASE stats from going below average.

CRYSTALS are not affected by use of a Stimulator. So if you use a Black Crystal and a Stimulator, the ENDING stats can still be up to -3 below average. The Stimulator kept the BASE stats at average, but the Black Crystal took it down to -3.

@BlackClaw: lol, no. I don't know what the range on stimulators is. I know that I had +3 from the saphire so logically the stimulator added 2 matk.

Base matk for the wand is 113. The saphire added 3 matk. If what BuyUrselfaDrink said was true, I have 2 matk unaccounted for.

So what exactly is "high hands?"

@BlackClaw: I doubt it, I've done things like that before. I always use a stim, but I have a better chance of getting it to work because I have extremely high 'hands.'

So if i dont use one it can become worse if i use a dark crystal with it. But if i use Stim the dark crtystal wont make it worse on avg or better nice nice kthanks

I made a 118Matk Dimon wand by using an advance saphire and a stim, it added 2 matk
