Another Music Thread
I was wondering about the music tastes of some basilers. So... could you tell us your favorite kind of music, and your least favorite kind of music, and why?
Favorite: R&B because the lyrics are usually very soulful and just beautiful. The beats are really enjoyable, also.
Least Favorite: Metal (the screamo kind) because I can't really understand what the people are saying when they're screaming. It just sounds angry to me when they scream.
EDIT: Also, please no bashing of other people's music. You can say you don't like it, but you don't have to go overboard.

IKR? And they have the most annoying fanbase ever because they spend their whole time acting like if they know what "real" music is all about and diss fun bands to listen to because they aren't as "emotionally deep." Disgusting.

Idk, ignant party rap and 80's alternative rock are my favorites.
I really hate overly pretentious stuff [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9kg_pe-lUU]like La Dispute and Touche Amore[/url] where some dude just whines into a microphone and suddenly it's good music because it's "deep." Also hate music that is just made for hipsters and has no appeal beyond that. Stuff like Lana Del Rey that's just really lame and meant for white people to wank off to thinking their deep for liking it (srs) just annoys me. Stuff like fun. also really sucks in my opinion. They have more appeal than just hipsters but their songs still blow beyond belief.

Too hipster.
Favorite: Kpop, classical, rap, and anything Michael Buble sings.
Least favourite: Country and opera.
i consume a staple diet of jazz (anything from blues to early swing to cool jazz to gypsy jazz to bop to free jazz) with some supplementary psychedelic blues rock (radio moscow comes instantly to mind) and some electronic every once in a while (justice, glitch mob, punk daft)
