In the effort to make an accurate Dps chart
I'm going to make a video recording attack speed of Bishops, and showing all of the calculations using that to calculate DPM.
Once its done, I'll post another thread with the video, and I am asking veterans of maplestory in other classes to do the same. The DPM charts online seem to be very off, and I want to have videos proving the math for everyone to confirm or refute the existing ones.
If you wanna make a video, send me a PM with what class you are going to do and we can reassert what damage formulas are in use and what not to make sure that our results are accurate and consistent with each other.

Maybe if you get level 200 with clean empress set, check dps with self-buff.
@jolteon7: attack speed increases damage output by .6 or .8 btw. Since most classes do infact hit speed cap then the chart is still relativity correct, besides the few classes that dont hit cap
i'm working on fixing America too, just gonna practice by fixing maple until i graduate college lol.
and I'm gonna take a 30 second video of each class attack at HoH, count the attacks, then calculate a new DPS chart including different scenarios that are class specific, such as classes with high Crit Rate being able to improve their range much more than accounted for with 100% crit and crit damage gloves.

They are perfect scenarios which highly ever happen. Unless you have 100% avoid (it's very unlikely you can do that), no dodging mobs, avoiding DR, etc.

Have you every seen the top of that chart?
It says it used (2) fastest speed. Meaning it is as if every class hits speed cap on that chart. Which is unrealistic as AB's need 3 more attack speed increases and its hard to get 3 more attack speed.
What's so "off" about JoeTang's one? It's been rigorously tested, scrutinized and edited and built upon for the sake of precision.
