In response to some complaints
People want to qq and thats fine and all, but just in case you are actually too oblivious to notice...
We are in the middle of a transitional period in maple, it takes a lot to program all new places, quests, skills, and mobs, and with the fear of all of you qqing even more if they don't make any new content for an extended period of time, they are going one piece at a time.
To everyone complaining that there is no motive to train past 180 or so, and that leveling past 210 is too hard, there isn't supposed to be a motive yet, and they haven't made the higher level training grounds yet. They had to raise the level and damage cap, fix the massive gap in dps between classes, and freshen up the user interface.
What are you supposed to do? Take a break. Wait it out. Don't like that answer? What were you originally doing at level 200 before the cap raised?
It's going to take a while til 5th job and a complete training/quest line to 250, and while Nexon is pretty terrible as a company, they are actually handling this transition pretty well.
Make new guys for links, upgrade your equips, or enjoy the rest of the summer. Or continuing enjoying to do what you were doing without having leveling be a priority.
It's either wait this out, or have the game completely shut down in a year or two. Please be patient.
P.S. to those of you QQing because they won't fix bugs before doing all of this crap, I can't really disagree, but they seem to be doing what will help the greatest amount of people enjoy the game more, first.

It may be true, but the few people who end up agreeing when I make these kinds of threads help me to keep my sanity in dealing with everyone else.
@jolteon7 I would say a large number of the people complaining are 13 and under. These people want instant-gratification and no long term goals, which is why they're whining about it being pointless to level past 180. (It is kind of pointless right now, but like you said that will change eventually.) You're observation will go over a lot of people's heads.
