Are they ever gonna take the 255 scroll cap off?
Im gonna start scrolling my fafnir, most likely gonna use the event 20%s, but if the 255 cap is gonna come off then i might go for +6 with better scrolls then fail the other two. Then clean slate after I enhance.
Is it even worth it or is the cap always gonna be there?

He did say Fafnir...not an ele staff.
A mage fafnir weap averages at 200-205 M.A depending on rod/wand/staff, 8 slots + 2 hammered slots, you can easily get 250-255 with 20%s from the shop.
An ele staff can also reach the 255 cap, although it's extreme hard and based highly on your luck. Assuming you get a 183 clean base ele staff, you'd have to land 9 scrolls in which all 9 slots gives +8 m.a (10% 8th anniversary scrolls give 7-9), or at least 5/9 slots to give 9 m.a.

That's not what I meant...
I mean why would it even matter if it's W.Att or M.Att. It should still cap at 255 regardless.

A few Fafnir weapons have 188-205 w.att/m.att so if you use the +7 or +9 (if we get them) scrolls that easily pushes it past 255.
I remember reading somewhere that the 255 pre-enhancement cap is removed once we get Unlimited. Although given the fact that we're getting some kind of demonic love child between unlimited and spark. I have no idea if that will remain true for us.

The 255 cap is before Enhancements. Pretty sure the bow you're referring to had multiple Enhancements.
