Dual Blader martery books question
So, a friend gave me both mirror image 20 and shadow meld 20. Mirror image worked, and shadow meld failed Im lvl 90, planning to hit lvl 100 today. I just got slash storm 20, and it worked, first try c: Ok, but, here is the question: Am I able to use shadow meld 20 AFTER fourth job advancement? A friend told me he used more than 20 slash storm books and all of them failed, then he found out that it was because he already job advanced (he was lvl 130 or something). I wanted to know if that's true, if the same thing will happen with shadow meld.

I mean, if it was possible for you to actually advance without passing it, then yeah. Pretty sure it'd work given the situation you had 0 SP at level 100.
Off topic, but it has to be a pain to make a DB at this time. So many newborn DBs chasing after the mastery books .
You can't job advance until you use all mastery books for 3rd job. So you must use it before you job advance.
You are supposed to max every skill.....

I'm pretty sure you cannot go to fourth job without Shadow Meld maxed (don't max Bandit Slash and/or Fatal Blow).
EDIT: Well, you can go on without it maxed, but it's SUPER unrecommended.

You can still use shadow meld books after 4th job advancement. You can also buy cash shop mastery books that lvl up shadow meld and slash storm at a 100%
