Theory for the Summer Update

You see, last winter, KMS released the MIB: Maple Ice & Burn Update... Normally, we get their major updates in the oppsite season... The problem is: it was ANYTHING but major...
~5 new events, some technical/UI updates, and ~2 new MINOR content additions...
My theory is that they will add what little content it brought during the mapleversary, and instead do something special for GMS in the summer (every other region has done this, its our turn! CMS got spark, JMS gets these ALL THE TIME, EMS got Supreme and some OTHER things, and SEA is doing their own thing from time to time), we've never had an ENTIRE update devoted to original content.... One new thing in one new patch, and all of a sudden its an "Exlusive" update...
I dont count Masteria Returns because all it did was give us BACK what everyone else realised shouldn't have been removed, and didn't remove, or what they should have implemented when they "Revamped" masteria, in the FIRST PLACE... My theory is that we'll get either some original content, or some imported content... here's Update Notes:

V1.i: Maplestory: Going Global Update Notes
Global Maplestory is different from other versions of Maplestory... Rather than providing services for a single region, we provide it for any region that doesn't have their own provider... It is fitting that it is based in the American division of Nexon, and that the foreign playerbase is primarily Australian and Canadian. What do the two have in common? They're all a mashup of different cultures, a Melting Pot, if you will, they have people from all over adding their own customs, their own flavor, to the mix... But they also come up with a few of their own things...
The united states motto is Magnus Unum "From Many, one" From many different backgrounds comes one nation, from many flawed ideas comes one that works.

So, GMS will follow suit!

A lot of great ideas have been implemented in other versions, most of which have been integrated by other versions, but rarely by us! Not anymore! Now that content are Going Global!

Familiar Potential is Going Global!
Familiars got an update in JMS shortly after we integrated them, it was vastly improved, allowing you to get the desired stats and bonuses with your favorite monsters, instead of having to use a monster you don't like simply because it had good high and gave great bonuses... Finally, the Familiar Revamp is GOING GLOBAL

Familiar Potential
The old familiar skill system is being replaced by Familiar potential... It is mostly the same, except now the bonus you get by default is random, and you can reset the bonuses with Familiar Cubes!
-In keeping line with our Better Maple Resolution to reduce dependence on NX, we will NOT sell the Familiar Cubes in the Cash Shop
-Familiar Cubes are availiable as a rare drop from normal monsters, uncommon drops from Elite Monsters and Area Bosses, common drops from Minor bosses, very common drop from Major Bosses

Familiar Level
Ever hate how your favorite monsters are so low level, and they do damage that is meaninglessly small? Tired of using the few monster familiars above 160 to do some ACTUAL damage? No more!
Now Familiars can level up with you! When you kill monsters, all active familiars gain exp too! They will level up, and do more damage, so they aren't useless in a fight!

Multi-Familiar System
In JMS, there is a completely different profession system, it had 2 more professions: a harvesting profession: Monster Hunter, and a crafting profession: Monster Tamer... a Monster Tamer could use up to 3 familiars, similar to how a Alchemist can use 2 potions... While we cannot fully implement it, formatting it for GMS would be a nightmare, and would not be without complications, we CAN allow you to use 3 familiars at once
-Speak to the Legendary Beast Hunter in Ardentmill and do a quest for him to learn the Follow the Leader (Familiar) Skill, alllowing you to use 3 familiars!

Misc changes:
The drop rate of Familiars above level 30 has been increased exponentially!
The drop rate of boss level familiars has been boosted to around 5%!

Nebulites are Going Global
Nebulites are a system we created ourselves, but even we have to admit that it's far too inaccessable and inconvenient.
The small changes we keep doing don't make a large difference, so its time for a REVAMP!
-there's a new kind of Nebulite: S Grade Nebulite
-you can now drill two Sockets into an equipment
-D Grade Nebulites are no longer obtainable
-Nebulite Boxes have been replaced with Mystery Nebulite, (now commonly gives C Grade Nebulite, and rarely give B and A), and now drops MUCH more commonly
-New items: Advanced Mystery Nebulite, (can contain B and A Grade Nebulites) and Superior Mystery Nebulite (can contain A and S rank nebulites), which drop occasionally from elite monsters, major bosses, and legendary mysterious veins/flowers.
-Advanced Mystery Nebulite and Superior Mystery Nebulite can be crafted by Accessory Crafters at Master Craftsman and Meister Rank, respecitively...
-Nebulite fusion for C-A grade can now be done with mesos, Premium Fusion Tickets now are used to fuse S- Grade

Supreme World is Going Global!
-Thiis content people asked for, this is the Europe representative for Going Global
(unfinished)

Other things are Going Global!
-Bonus Potential Cubes can now be obtained through the same methods as Master Craftsman Cubes, except through crafting.
-Bonus Potential Cubes are now sold in the cash shop for 1000 nx
-Luminous's skill, Change Light/Dark, has had its cooldown removed/reduced from 300 to 15 seconds, as the long cooldown interfered with the class's intended concept of choosing between using LP/DP immediately, or saving up points and using them back to back, and deciding WHEN you want to switch...
-Luminous now keeps the Aurora Robes and Shoes after the tutorial instead of switching to Dark Aurora Robes and Shoes, as it fits the GMS's script/concept better, despite being the "dark story"'s npc/interaction

No, because NOTHING NEW COMES IN SUMMER... Nothing new=no more power... Plus, that boss will most likely come in APRIL, BEFORE the anniversary...
So they need GOOD summer content, and MIB isn't going to deliver...

It's mock update notes... V1.__i__ is like a sample of what I had in mind... It's too late to suggest this to nexon for a summer update, so unless they've planned something special on their own, this summer is gonna suck...

They've already spoken about it before, 5th job is currently in development since like RED update in KMS.

@system775: lsn't it crazy that they increased the cap by 50x the original and we need to raise the cap again? But than again, if they increase the cap damage or remove it completely, bosses will die to fast and the game will be even more ruined than it already was and the rich will essentially hold a huge monopoly..
