Returning to Ms Night Lord Funding/Training?
I'm returning to Maplestory, but I haven't played probably in a couple of years. So, I am trying to figure out all the new things/changes Maplestory has done. I originally played in Chaos where I had all my characters, but I am starting from scratch in Broa. I never played a Night Lord before, but since the Red Updated and the NW revamp, I decided to make it my new main character.
I made my character yesterday and got him to level 60. I bought some NX which gave me about 900m in funds of right now. All my items are basic (no pots or anything), so what should I invest my money in first? Also where should I train at from 70-120?
Lastly, I currently only have 1 friend on my friend's list in Maplestory =( I would be more than happy to meet some new people, so feel free to add me: VintageCeleb ; I am also looking for a helpful guild too. Thank you so much for your help!

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks everyone! I really appreciate it =) I have one more question. Let's say I have a top/bottom that has 15% Luk each on them, but they are not a set. Would a set bonus be better than those?
As the others recommend, go do R&J till lvl 100. From 100-120 you can stay at R&J or go MPE with friends. From 120-140 you can stay at R&J or go to evo world. From 140-150, you can evo or DIPQ. DIPQ until 165 and then go to SH until 200+.
For equips: At this point in time, eqs aren't important. If you really want to increase your dmg, invest in evo rings or absolute rings, tradable easy to resell items. Once you hit 120 you can get a reverse/timeless claw for relatively cheap or an Raven horn claw at 140 and scroll it with 60% +2/3 attk scrolls. Buy a cra hat/top/bot and use them clean for the +50 attk set bonus (if you can obtain cheap chaoses, you can try your luck). Until 170+ this should serve you fine, as long as you're not doing any hard bosses.
Go do the adventurer storyline for an emblem, and get a decent secondary (+attk or %dmg/attk).
Go do gollux prequests, farm coins, and sell the superior ring/earring. Buy the advanced gollux scrolls, reinforced ring and earring for self-use. Buy a pendant and belt in the fm (around 60-100m) and scroll thsoe too. Use the crack/solid rings for other pottable rings.
Go do commerci to farm items to sell and/or use to craft cubes. As you get more denaros, get a sw eye/face and sell or use them (if htey have decent %luck).
Once you get more money, buy another clean CRA armor set and Fafnir Claw, and slowly scroll them. As events come by, icog the armor pieces and scroll your claw with +5-10 attk scrolls. You can also obtain +5 attk 60% scrolls from the world party quest if you're not as patient. Kill elite bosses and/or the larger dark monsters to get safety scrolls for your eqs before scrolling them.
From events, obtain epic/unique pot scrolls, pot your gear, and then cube for better stats.
In the future, buy a tyrant cape/shoe. EE those and your gear is practically endgame.
I did R&J until 100, 100-105 at MPE, 105 to 160 at either evo lab, MP3 or dimension invasion. I'll add you, I just came back to Maple too and I'm in the progress of funding my NL again.

CRA set is named Assassin for thieves, Empress is Raven Horn.
Go and do RJ for a few hours that should get you to 120. Then add even more hours and that will get you to 140. Add that point you will be able to go to Dimension invasion PQ to till 165.

Welcome back to Maple.
For the time being you shouldn't put too much effort into funding your character. The levels will fly by from 70-120 at Romeo and Juliet PQ. Afterwards, you can stay there or head to Dimensional Invasion. When you get close to about 150, you can use your funds to get the CRA set. The prices appear to be dropping a lot.
