The research I did on the error you posted indicates the problem is most likely a corrupted registry, which can be somewhat complicated to fix, and would be further complicated by its needing to have an original Windows installation CD.
If you have the Windows XP installation files on a USB pen drive, reinstalling Windows is probably the simplest thing to do, depending on how you got the files. If it's something directly from HP, that's intended to be used this way, then all you'd need to do is set the netbook to boot from the USB drive and run the Windows setup from there. You'd have to know how to do that though... it's probably in the instruction manual for the netbook.

Do you need to install Windows on the netbook, or are you just trying to find out how to play Maplestory with it..?
What's wrong with the netbook in the first place? There really should not be a problem if it is running a Windows OS.
