college laptop help
yeah, going to college soon, so i'm planning to get a new laptop but i have no clue as to what's decent or not. I'm within a $900 budget so what would you guys recommend? I'm not going to major in something like engineering or anything (Bio as a matter of fact) so i don't need a super intense computer, but i would like it to be able to handle games. thanks for the help =).

wow =) thanks a lot for the help!
I see. Well, any modern day could run MS without lag. The only lag you should experience is a connection one.

That should be good for MS and school work. It also have up to 9 hours battery life. lol
I also like this HP Probook: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157838
My biggest complaint with it is the awkward arrow keys (the left and right arrow keys is big, and the up and down arrow combined (with a bit space in between) is the same size as the as the left/right keys...). So I believe this laptop may be a bit annoying for MS.
Here's some other laptops I recommended earlier on another thread.

mm well for screen size i'm thinking 14 inches. I'll most likely be using my laptop while it's plugged in at my room so battery life isn't much of a concern for me so long as it's not ridiculously short. As for games i don't usually play graphic intensive games at all, i usually play games like sudden attack and ms, but i absolutely hate lag so that's something i'm concerned about.
Can you tell me what kind of games you will be playing? Is battery life very important (like up to 8+ hours during web browsing/word processing important)? Screen size? Weight?
