Official: Nexon is Broken Thread
[b]Update: Keep discussion about ANY Nexon Server Problems in this thread for now![/b]
Right so Nexon's completely crashed for certain ISP's and it's pretty obvious it's a problem with Nexon and not the ISPs themselves. Either way, the ISPs that don't work with Nexon appear to be: OptusAus, Bell, Cox Cable/Cox Communications Network, Virgin Media, Optimum Online, Telus. If you've got a different ISP and Nexon's still not working, then feel free to post that.
Also feel free to discuss any fixes, workarounds, etc. Just don't make anymore threads about it.
Alternatively, you could ignore Maplestory and play Skyrim WHICH I AM GOING TO BLINDLY ASSUME EVERYONE OWNS.

This thread needs some attention :O
I can visit the website and launch the game via gamelauncher but then it gives me the trouble logging in pop up when I'm on the log in screen ... I'm with Optus Australia btw.
I can only log in via website and not gamelauncher =/

It is safe, unlike browser proxies Hotspot Shield is a client proxy, thus anything that could be the "would be" keylogger would be located in the .exe you download.
Hotspot Shield itself is clean, hence the only place you can get a virus or keylogger from is transmittable through what you browse on it.
In any case your PIC will protect you because you do not type it, thus; not recordable.

This gets me to the login screen but no further.
When I'm there and I type in my password and click log in, it just says "Having trouble logging in? Please visit the website blablabla"...

Confirmed (for myself) that you can access Maplestory via Gamelauncher.exe regardless of your ISP if you are using Hotspot shield.
Download it and run it, make sure you've been assigned a new IP and hostname, then go to your Nexon folder and run your Gamelauncher.exe in Administrator mode.
Add Verizon to the list.
Nexon really needs to hire more employees to make sure their games are running good.

I'm with Telus and live in Canada. Does anyone have an estimate for how long Telus users won't be able to connect? If it's Nexon sided, it might be a while I guess.

I find it weird that no one posted on the nexon forums about the ISP issue. They only care about the west server down and east server up. I'm connecting to the forums through a proxy, and i can't login to post a thread there.
That's odd. I have AT&T, for about 10min. when I tried to login it said 504 bad gateway or something, and suddenly it worked. If anything, I logged in through forums when it worked.
Call your ISP and depending on who's working, tell them to re-root you to an international proxy server.
Just checked the Nexon forums through a proxy and there was nothing in the Nexon Tracker for today. ._.

Comcast ._. I logged in on a mule account and it worked, but I can't get on
my main. I unistalled maple to try to fix the problem, but now I can't reinstall it.
Which means: NEXONS FAULT!

Well i guess many did look back, because most of who were affected i knew came back when they fixed it.
I was pretty mad.
Also note, as a customer since beta i have grown accustomed to the fact that nexon doesn't care about treating older players with care.
They seem all about shedding customers and getting new ones.

The only time i was ever on for more than 1 minute was when i was on a cruise and wanted to explain my situation.
