Slow pickup?
When I used to play Maple, I used to pickup items on the ground normally and quickly. Now all of a sudden it feels like im playing on KMS or something because its super laggy same with even just using potions. I know its not my computer or internet because I have a second partition and it's windows 8.1 and maple runs flawlessly on that my main partition is windows 7. So please.... help... picking up items for a quest is sooooo annoying especially the kerning square missions and im on them because its part of the main quest for beast tamer and I just quit because of the annoying pick up quests. Windows 8.1 also randomly shuts off on me maybe because it isnt activated o.o so thats why i dont play on windows 8.1

Sadly it got moved to the suggestions section which is spammed by fan-fics which will never be made a part of the game.
but please, occasionally comment in it to keep the thread alive, maybe they will remove the loot lag.
anyhoo, on another topic, they have recently reduced the lag for harvesting herbs and ores. before it was 5 seconds, now it is less than the time to harvest one vein so you can immediately start harvesting after. so there is hope for this.
Can you imagine how many more people would be playing Maplestory if Nexon wasn't so corrupt? and in turn making them a boat load more cash in the long run.
its known as the "nx trap" we slow down loot speed and add several events that require looting= more profit. Don't fall for the trap.
Pet loot is the fastest looting system, working on the SERVER SIDE rather than the Client side, making it flawless...
Increasing Pet NX income, making it a must, and also making perm pet a rare, and well-desired thing to have for any medicore player.
Nexon purposely made it slow for idk what reason and only way to speed up picking things manually is hacking or buyin a pet
They purposely put in the lag to stop hackers from auto looting or w/e. Then they saw an increase in sale for pets+acc sooo... pretty sure the lag is going to stay here forever.
they did this so they can milk cash from pets and pets equips
it is a slow affect to pick things up too force you to buy pets for fast pick up, profiting nexon
it's ironic you compared your lag to kms when in kms they actually don't have pick up lag
