@Aces, Byron can't be crying, he had to know what kind of mess he was signing up for.
He thought he was signing up for a chance to coach Lebron and maybe even a title. Now he's stuck with the worst team in the NBA for another 2-3 years while his dream job will pass him right by.
Why do people see this as funny? What is a Cordon?
Ot: The Nba hasn't had any new "amazing" rookies. Maybe Jeremy Lin. I see it as a standstill. 3Peat again guys.
Blake Griffin had some decent moments.
The point is, you don't get to have a terrible month, not be the best team in your conference and still scream about 3-peats after one win against a god awful team.
Gotcha. Lakers are frustrating at times and it seems they always go through a lazy period in which they're just bored of the regular season. Still, worrying is the last thing in my mind.
Knew this would come up. After the month LA has had, running around screaming 3-peat is probably the last thing anyone should be doing.
...Besides. The Cavs suck.
Last time I checked, playoffs are in April, not January. They've been through their share of slumps even in the past 2 years, they're not the 2-time champs by accident.
@Fade2BlacK: Yeah, I think he'll be amazing, but atm, he isn't at his peak.
@Luk: Tell me how bad he was doing before his streak.
Of course, he's a rookie.
I don't think I have seen anyone this impressive in their first active year since... I don't know...
Tim Duncan?
@Fade2BlacK: But he can't do what Lebron did for the Cavs. He's talented, but he's inconsistent.
No, but Blake Griffin seems to be on pace to be a future hall of famer.
I don't think Griffin is inconsistent at all.

Aww. Now Ted Williams won't get his pay! so sad
After the prideful, confident Comic Sans proclamation, Dan Gilbert was probably reduced to tears today!
If Dan Gilbert is in tears, Byron Scott is flooding a river. haha

Although the Lakers are recently slumping, they should still be projected to be the favorite over the Western teams to at least be in the Finals.
