I return to maplestory
Hello, people of Basil I have not been here in a long time. About two year ago I quit Maple, reason being I got hacked and everything I worked hard for was taken from me, you may call it a rage quit but that is not the point. I have played other MMO's in the past two years mostly being Vindictus and World Of Warcraft. I have decided to return because in all honesty I miss Maplestory it is a part of me that I miss and wish to continue it as I did before. Now like all people that get back into the groove of things I'm a complete noob, I have no idea what I am doing or even where to begin. I have no meso's no money and no friends, so I will be starting on a completely new server most friendly as it can be. I use to dwell in Scania, but I see that server is full as always and I will not be returning. I'm sure Scania has enough people to handle. Anyway if the nice people of Basil would as kind as to give me a brief summary of what has happened etc it would be nice, what jobs to play, what server to get into and if anybody here would want to befriend me and help me get back into Maplestory that would just make it all the better so please help an old school Mapler out here, I'm kinda rusty.

there's actually been quit a few returning players recently (myself included..although not after 2 years)
you should check out those threads as people have already exhausted there long term memories trying to summarize whats been updated

Because I want a lot of input? I really don't see the problem. So far Khani has been the most friendly from what I've seen.

@Killeraxon: Every server has good and bad players, pick one that is the most interesting to you. Nobody is going to tell you what has happened, especially from such a long time period. Find a server, make a new character and start from there. I'm sure there are other players that are just like you, simply talk with others that you find in your map and make conversations. That's how you make friends. Train together and the next thing you know you're slowly building your way up.
