Mini rant and giving away things

For starters, this is probably only relevant in Broa, but feel free to give input as to why you play/don't play and history with a situation similar to mine.

So after quitting this game about a year or so ago, I decided to start again this past May to try out some new classes and maybe re-connect with some old friends. My main reason for quitting because of how difficult it was to get money (rich get richer, poor stay poor), but my friend told me about a new thing called "Philosopher books" that's supposed to give descent rewards. I had $25 to spare so I went out and got 9 books.

I figured that was enough funding to restart my demon slayer since I already had a perfect v.i.p axe from a while back. I went into the FM to sell a few things when I came across this guy named @Mofosays. He offers 50k nexon to buy my no boom AEE, which to me it's nonsensical; he could've easily done a philosopher book run or just sold the nexon and bought one. Regardless, this guy goes on about how he's a legit 24 year old with no reason to scam. Generally I wouldn't fall for this kind of stuff, but I wasn't very attached to the money or game for that matter. Obviously he takes it and leaves, I thought I took screenshots of the conversation but i'm a nub and kept hitting Printscroll? Derp, it's all good though. You'll just have to take my word for it? (hopefully i'm not scamming basil stories..)

Either way, this marks the end of my maple time. This isn't a rage-quit, and i'm not mad for that matter. I feel like the game is in a weird place all together. Coming back didn't feel right to begin with, this was just the final nail in the coffin I guess. Criticism is welcome, no need for empathy. I'm giving away the little I have left and the account/email, any ideas on how I should go about giving it all away are welcome.

TLDR?: Quit game, came back and didn't really enjoy myself, bought nx to (hopefully) make game more fun, got scammed. Giving items away (help me figure out how?), if you're in Broa make sure you tell people @Mofosays is a mofo. Feel free to input on the struggles of merching, pros/cons of philosopher books, scamming etc.

Item Give-away details:

I'll be editing this section every day up until the actual give-away. The goal is to have everyone who actually takes the time out to do the in game contest to come away with something. I am going to ask a question a day from Monday-Friday, you have to answer all five questions to qualify for admission to the contest. This contest will take place Saturday 9/28 some time between 2-5 p.m pst (depending on if there's 2x/hot-time, don't want to inconvenience anyone). Of all of the individuals who answer each of the questions, I will randomly generate 8 names of people who qualify for the contest. If you are picked you will receive a message with details of the location and the name of the character I will use to host the event. Best of luck!
