How do you guys think people get chosen for tespia?
I don't think it's random, most of my friends that bought like $300+ each, of nx
all got into tespia.

It is random based on player stats.
Depending on which type of player they need the single groups out and pick from those.
It's in the Dev Blog (I think) which describes exactly how the selction proccess is done.

Played for 4 and half years, spent well over $2000 and i didnt get selected. Its random of course.
i've spend $2000 that i got from mts n im not in it =/

why am i not in tespia =l?
logic flawed.
My friend got into Tespia without a single transaction of NX on the entire account.
hmm makes me think, well that people with more nx spending are more favorable since they do bring the company money.
but yeah i do get that they need all types of maple demographics for the best feedback. but still.. lol
