There is two NX inventories. One for beta one for alpha. If you wear gender specific it will equip to corresponding gender. If gender less, it'll ask if you wanna equip on both.

You can either wear it on one , or both. Say you're the boy , and try to put on NX , itll say do you wanna share it with the girl and vice versa

Think of Zero as two different people.
You can use seperate NX equips to make them different
However, you can also use the same NX equip for both Alpha and Beta.
