How/Why do mushrooms jump?

So who actually read the full story for this question? The story was slow and they required a ton of traveling for this one so I skipped most of the content.
So can someone tell me the general concept behind it?

For Stump and Horntail, I read almost evrything and I must say... it is pretty decent. <3

Stump wanted to be loved so it kept getting the axe stuck waiting for the girl to come and take it out of him. Eventually it became a "tradition" to the stump so they started getting axed...

HT... I actually guess this and I got it correct. It's right head is the smartest. Hehe The right head is always right... The left being the next and middle being the dumbest.
