Im thinking Shadower for sure. Respect to each class though, DBs just are not for me i guess.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the DB class. I made a Dual Blader up to 120 for the mask, and that was about it. I might give 4th job a try, because 1st-3rd was just so repetitive for me.

My Shadower, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic. I love the variety of skills (BStep + Steal for mobbing, BStep + Carnival Edge for 1v1, Meso Explosion for whenever it's handy, and Assassinate for a nice finish ) and their survivability is top notch. A decent amount of avoid coupled with Meso Guard and Shield Mastery really doesn't cost you a lot of potions.

The choice is yours.

@aaronthecow Yeah, I just tried playing my DB and I cant get into it....lol My shadowers skill to me are much better. I cant stand all that flying and rolling around. I do like Blade Fury though in the DB 4th job but thats really the only skil I like. For shadowers, I macro bs with assassinate right ?

I really love push back skills and great mobbing skills. I just got my shad to 80 just now and now im gonna get my DB to there. If i enjoy him more, he will hit 120 tomorrow and then If I still like him, he will be my ALT. I really love a theif class in general. I used to main a 102 Hermit back before BB and I loved the theif style. I really hope I enjoy a Shadower or Dual blader above 120 Also, if no one here has played a bucc, get it to 121 and OMG they are soooooo amazing, strong and fun with out funding

pretty sure DB>Shad in terms of dmg outpuut, but that doesnt mean shads are totally weak
ME is still pretty damn strong, to telastkollie, ME does same amount of dmg to monsters no matter what amount the mesos are (1 meso will do sme dmg as 50k bag)

IIRC, ME>phantom blow, but then again, ME does take a while to set up and even then, it doesnt work on all bosses (HT arm, head, etc)

Shads def have upper hand against DB's in survivability due to meso guard and shield mastery, + smokescreen and high avoid
while DB's just have high avoid, iirc

I got a lv 140 shad and a lv 85 db so I cant really say anything from experience for DB's, but I really like shad's gamplay

in the end, its really all up to u and ur perferences

They bend us over real good.

I think DBs do better with mobs (though I could be wrong, i haven't gotten phantom blow yet) and Shadowers do better with 1v1.
Ive seen some shads use ME, but in parties, it is annoying and apparently it lags ppl. But ME isn't really efficient, you have to be quite close to the monster to do dmg.

Assassinate does the highest dmg with you get 5 orbs (using BS, Carnival, and Phase Dash?), so its best used as a "final attk"-ish and BS also gives dmg%+ on carnival, sb, steal. Shadow Instinct also helps Assassinate, but not really sure how lol.

yeah, I read somewhere that the shadowers main attack is BS macro'd with Assassinate? I like both and will probably get both to 120 + but I jsut want to see which one I should first.... lol

After the DB revamp, I believe DB might just be infront of Shadowers in terms of damage (of course I may be wrong)
